FAQ

and answers to FAQ

  • No, you don’t. I work remotely with athletes from different cities and countries. Nowadays, remote training has become one of the most popular formats of training for endurance sports. Based on inputs provided by your sports watch and using up-to-date software, a coach is able to assess the quality of training and an athlete’s current condition.

  • I work with athletes irrespective of their current physical condition or age. I’m willing to take on any athlete who is passionate about sports and whose goals are in line with my expectations.

  • The length of the training period primarily depends on your current physical condition. But, on average, it normally takes a year to get ready for Ironman 70.3 (half race), during which an amateur athlete will need to put in an average of 7 to 12 hours a week. The length of the period required to get ready for the Ironman race depends on your current physical condition and ambitions, but normally, it takes about two years with an average weekly training time of 10 to 16 hours per week.

  • The cost of services depends primarily on their scope and the number of hours I spend coaching you. In order to get an initial idea, I need to get clear about your sports goals, your sporting background (if any) in triathlon or other sports, your current physical condition and your expectations from me as a coach. Usually, once I’m clear with this, I’m able to decide if our cooperation is going to be productive and beneficial, and how much it is going to cost.
